We need wagon masters for these trips.

Susan will send out the information for these rallies and she hopes to get volunteers for wagon masters.  Most RV parks won’t give a contract.  We may have to call to get our own spot for booking.  Some RV Parks, you have to book now for 2021.

Julie Africa spoke about new people as wagon masters.  You can do as much or as little as you want.  You can ask a golfer to schedule the golf.  You can organize pot lucks or “Burn your own meat”.  You don’t have to cook, have coffee and rolls.

Betty Schumacher urged new people to become wagon masters to meet people and get involved.  For activities, you email them a schedule along with an application found online and place a board by your RV about the day’s schedule.

In further discussion, we should have a certified AED/CPR person on the rally.  Bob Zielinski knows the person who comes four times a year to train and certify those interested.  Lincoln Hills Foundation lists these classes for residents at Orchard Creek May 29 and September 11.

Betty asked if we were going to have a Summerfest and Susan suggested we think about having the party in October.  She will call to see if the Pavilion is available.  Betty mentioned the sponsor who paid for the band and desert.  Vicki will contact Betty about the Christmas party.

Education:  The Harp’s will be out of town in June but they plan to talk about “Preventative maintenance”.

Susan asked if any can talk about RV safety, steering stabilizers, anti-sway and tire pressure monitors.

Lenny Cassieri said the DMV has new laws about RVs weighing over 26,000.  You need a class A or Class C non-commercial license.  You could get a ticket if you don’t have the right license.  Ricki could post the new laws online.

Next meeting is June 13.

Meeting adjourned.

Marggi Holtze, Secretary.
