a. Mark Hamilton gave a short training on Winterizing your RV (For more info, contact Mark)
1. If your RV is parked outside, cover tires and fill tires with air to the max.
2. If parking RV for months, drive the RV every 3 months and run the air conditioner and generator. Park on plywood.
3. Its not good to just start it and let it run for a short time.
4. If coach stored for 60 – 90 days, put in fuel stabilizer
5. If stored outside, drain the water tank, add RV pink antifreeze per instructions. When ready to use flush out the antifreeze with fresh water, sanitize with scented bleach (look up how much bleach to use for the size of water tank), let the bleach sit for 2 hours and flush the tank with fresh water. The bleach flush should be done twice a year
6. Check the roof seals yourself or take it to a RV repair facility to inspect your RV roof. If the roof sealant is dried out, cracked, torn or peeling, you need to replace.. Dicor is a well known sealant. Tape can also be used.
7. Batteries freeze around 30 degrees. This is not an issue where we live. A full battery is charged at 12.8. Lead acid batteries discharged 50% will cause the battery to die. AGM batteries will recharge 1000 times to < 40%. Lithium batteries 3000- 7000 times. Don’t go below 12 with load. Periodically check your batteries.
8. 303 is a great product to use on decals and sides of coach.
b. Member questions
1. How many members do we have? Bill Bisson thought we had about 67 (households signed up) last year. Sharon Skar will report in January the total number of members; since the dues need to be paid by Jan 1st.
Vicki White requested a motion to adjourn. Lynda Fagan concurred with motion to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 5:30.
