  1. January and February – nothing is planned as of yet.
  2. March 31 – April 3: Lodi Wine Festival held at the fairgrounds, tickets are approximately $50 – $60 for wine tasting and events. Rally to stay at Flag City, Lodi for 3 to 4 nights. Then it is planned to go to Plymouth for 4 nights and stay at the 49er RV Park.
  3. May – The Buellton RV Park was too difficult to work with for a group. Vicki is looking at alternatives.
  4. June – It is planned for the rally to be held in Crater and Diamond Lakes in Oregon for 5 nights, then traveling to Ashland.
  5. September – The Casa de Fruta Renaissance Fair near Hollister starts September 22nd, and the group would stay at the Gilroy RV park. Next the group would go to Moss Landing from September 24th – 29th. Vicki will be contacting the parks to make reservations.

A suggestion was made to look at Yuma AZ for a rally, and they have car shows.

The Beede’s are going on to Borrego after the tournament.
  1. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
  1. The CPR/AED class has been rescheduled to October 18, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Log onto SCLH online enrollment to register. There was a discussion by the members of difficulties working with staff to get classes organized. Robyn Kain reported that she had not gotten a refund for the last class that was cancelled. When she was able to reach Rex Owens, he did not realize refunds had not been issued and was going to follow up on it. She suggested everyone check to see if they have received a refund. Rex’s phone number if 916-408-4825. Rex also advised Robyn that there will be a November class too, and that there is a sponsor for that class which may reduce the cost of enrollment.

Mary mentioned that SCLH is now requiring that for a person to check out the AED for our rallies, the person picking it up has to show evidence of being current on their CPR/AED certification.

  • Updating our By-Laws, Policies, and Wagon Master Responsibilities. Sharon Skar reported the approved changes to the By-Laws and the policies have been posted on our website.
  • RV Storage Survey: Robyn Kain reported on the RV Storage Survey that she conducted the past couple of months. The survey results were distributed by email to the Group. There were a couple of additional sites that were then brought up, and Robyn has updated the survey accordingly. The survey is also available on the website under the Vendor tab. She advised that 24 Hour RV storage has 5% discounts for paying in cash for the year, being a member of an RV group, or being retired military, but not to exceed 10% total. Those identified from the survey as using this location have been identified to 24 Hour and the discount was applied this month. For those who are retired military, Beale AFB has a FamCamp with very reasonable rates, but you need clearance for base access to use the facility.
  • NEW BUSINESS

Revising Wagon Master Duties. Sharon Skar asked for members to review the Wagon Master duties and submit comments to her.

  • OPEN COMMENTS – There was a general discussion of RV repair facilities. Sac Valley RV was recommended as an excellent facility that is able to accomplish nearly anything for an RV.

Mark Hamilton made a presentation of RV essential maintenance items to have in your rig. He advised having a multi-meter on hand will allow you the ability to troubleshoot electrical problems. These are available on Amazon for a reasonable price. Everyone should have extra fuses on hand for their rig. He also suggested having a lithium battery jumper pack on board to start a dead battery. Be sure to check your spare tire inflation periodically. Don’t forget about your GFI outlets – if they get tripped, many of your electrical connections will not work.

  • ADJOURNMENT – A motion was made and approved to adjourn the meeting.
