MINUTES

1. Call to Order (Jake Baker) – Meeting was called to order at 4:30 p.m. There were 51 club members and guests in attendance.

2. Welcome Guests (Jake Baker) – Stu and Sue Clark were introduced as new members; they have a 30 foot Airstream. Marilyn Brenk, also a new member, introduced herself to the club.

3. Membership Report (Tari Briscoe)
a. Total Membership – the membership is currently at 57 households.

4. Approve Minutes of July 11, 2024 (Jake Baker) – a motion was made by Mary Romo, seconded by Steve Beede to approve the minutes. Motion passed.

5. Approve Treasurer’s Reports of July 2024 (Jake Baker) – a motion was made by Bill Bisson, seconded by Anne Beede, to approve the Treasurer’s reports. Motion passed.

6. Sunshine Report (Cindy Keller) – No report. Al Giuliani was at the meeting, and thanked everyone for their support and assistance during his illness and recovery.

7. Historian Report (Mary Romo) – Mary asked if anyone had heard of a “Seahander”? It is a watercraft and RV in one!

8. Social Chair Report (Diane Bergeron) – the Holiday Party is still scheduled for December 12th.

9. Vice President Report for Rallies (Ron Lunsford)

a. 2024 Rally Updates:
i. Roy Deeble reported on the recent Bodega Bay Rally. The weather was much cooler and the group had lots of fun.
ii. Betty Schumacher reported on the upcoming Jackson Rancheria rally this month. There are 23 rigs, 46 persons signed up. Activities include wine tasting, golf, BBQ by the wagon master. Call Betty to cancel, there will be no refunds as event money has been spent on supplies needed for the rally.
iii. Patty Holderfield reported on the upcoming Alburquerque Balloon Festival rally leaving September 20th. All arrangements have been finalized.
iv. Vicki White reported on the November 3rd rally to Feather Falls. The application has been distributed to the group.

b. 2025 Rally Plans – Ron discussed the sign up boards for each of the proposed 2025 rallies. Please sign up if you are interested; the intent is to find out how much interest there is in each rally before confirming details at each location. The sign up is an expression of interest only; it is not a commitment to sign up now. He also asked for input on other rally locations for 2025 and 2026 – please let him know if you have a suggestion.

10. Unfinished Business (Jake Baker)
a. Ad for Compass (Mary Carbrey) – Jake thanked Mary for her work on the ad for our group published in this month’s Compass magazine.
b. Profile Picture – Jake reminded everyone to try and get their picture taken to be put on the website member gallery page.
c. AED machine and certified people – Jake will see if Lincoln Hills will be offering new AED classes so that everyone can get certified/recertified on use of the AED equipment.

11. New Business (Jake Baker)
a. Practical name tags for meetings and rally gatherings- Jake discussed ideas for new name tags including first names in bold print and surname underneath.
b. New Logo – Jake displayed a new logo for the club that the Board has approved.

12. Open Comments (All)
a. Howard Stubblefield recommends the Sac Valley RV center, he gets excellent service from them. It’s a one stop shop.

13. Adjournment – the meeting was adjourned at 5:30 p.m with a motion by Cindy Aimar, seconded by Eric Roberts – motion passed.
