MINUTES
1. Call to Order Past Vice President Ron Lunsford presided over the meeting in the absence of President George Slaats. The meeting was called to order at 4:30 p.m. There were 20 members and no guests present.
2. Welcome Guests. There were no guests.
3. Approve Minutes of March 12, 2026
a. Motion to approve the minutes of March 12, 2026 was made by Mary Romo and seconded by Richard Beckler. Motion passed.
4. Approve Treasurer’s Report for March, 2026
a. Motion to approve the March, 2026 Treasurers report was made by Terri Stubblefield and seconded by Bill Fagan. Motion passed.
5. Membership Report
a. No report at this time.
6. Sunshine Report – Get well cards were sent to Dean Shumacher and Ron Hartman.
7. Historian Report (Ron Darville)
a. No Report at this time.
b. Trivia - Mary Romo had a fun trivia fact – According to Google, Tug-of-war was an official Olympic Sport for 5 Olympic Games from 1900-1920. It was contested as part of the track and field program with teams of 8 pulling for victory.
8. Social Chair Report
a. Diane Bergeron reported that the Spring Fling is on 4/30/26. It’s a Hoedown so get your boots and hat ready. There will be line dancing and a buffet and it’s $28.00 per person. The deadline for signing up and sending in your money is 4/21. Send to Terri Slaats.
9. Vice President Report for Rallies – Ron Lunsford reported on rallies for Vice President Gary McGraw.
a. 2026 Rally Updates
i. Paso Robles 4/9 – 4/14/26 -23 rigs are currently in Paso Robles.
ii. Angels Camp 5/6 – 5/11/26 – Steve and Ann Beede and Al and Maggie Giuliani are Wagon Masters. Contact them if you are interested.
iii. Central Point, Oregon 6/10 –– 6/15/26 Ron Lunsford and Diane Bergeron and Joe and Theresa Gomes are Wagon Masters. 15 rigs are signed up. This rally is still open. Contact the Wagon Masters if interested.
iv. Heber City, Utah 8/22 Heber City, Utah 8/22 –– 8/29/26 –– Wagon Masters are Jake and Pam Baker and Craig and Mary Carbrey. This rally is full.
v. McCloud 9/21 –– 9/25/26–– Wagon Masters are still needed for this rally. Applications will be out soon. Names of attendees will need to be turned into the RV Park by May 31 and reservations made by June 15. Interest clipboard was passed around.
b. 2027 rallies:
i. Emerald Desert RV Resort, Palm Desert 2/23 --2/28/27 –– Wagon Masters are Steve and Debra Romeo and Gary and Karen McGraw. Applications are available. Check with the Wagon Masters for availability if you have not made a reservation.
ii. Pueblo El Mirage RV and Golf Resort, Arizona 2/28 –– 3/5/27 -- Wagon Masters are Steve and Debra Romeo and Gary and Karen McGraw. Applications are available. Check with the Wagon Masters for availability if you have not made a reservation.
iii. Clipboards were passed around for interest signups.
c. Club signs, hats
i. Signs/placards are still available. Contact Gary McGraw.
ii. LHRVG hats will be available in the future.

a. Profile Picture Profile Picture -- If you have not provided a profile picture for the website, please consider getting someone to help with that while you are here at the meeting.
