LINCOLN HILLS RV GROUP MINUTES

I. CALL TO ORDER: Mary Romo called the Meeting to Order at 4:30 p.m.
II. WELCOME NEW MEMBERS: No new members present
III. WELCOME GUESTS:

The Salado’s are looking to buy a motorhome and to join our group.
IV. MEMBERS PRESENT: We had 29 members present.
V. PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES:
A motion to approve the minutes of the previous meeting on July 7, 2022 that were posted on line was made by Marlowe Skar and Seconded by Jim Clark.
VI. REPORTS

A. Treasurer’s Report: A motion to approve the Treasurer’s Report as posted on line was made by Bill Bisson and Seconded by Jim Clark.
B. Membership Report (Sharon Skar): We have had no new members for the last couple of months.
C. Sunshine Report (Gerri Samsel). Gerri was not present. Mary asked that if anyone knows that someone is not well or has lost someone, please let Gerri know. Her phone # is: (916)409-2145; email: [email protected].
D. Historian Report (Ron Darville)
Ron Darville was not present. Mary asked that any pictures from our rallies be sent to him. His address is 1198 Stone Pine Lane and phone # is (916)409-2470.

E. Social Chair Report (Vicki White):
Vicki reported that in May she is working on a Luau Dinner Dance. It’s going to be at the Sports Pavilion. The Christmas Party is Dec 4th at the Orchard Lodge.
Information will be sent to the members when details are finalized.
VII. VICE PRESIDENT REPORT (Vicki White & Cara Roberts) Projected Rallies for 2023:
Vicki and Cara are working on several places for rallies next year. When details are finalized, they will send out info to the members.
VIII RALLIES FOR 2022
A.. August 15 – 20 Yellowstone Holiday Resort. Wagon Masters: Tom & Sue Moe Status from Wagon Masters: Tom and Sue were not present.
However, Tom had contacted Sharon Skar regarding the status of the rally. When he contacted the RV Park, they informed him that two couples had cancelled. He was not notified by the members that they were cancelling. Tom stated that they put considerable effort in planning and preparation and it is disheartening to not be notified as two cancellations were half our group. Comments from members present at the meeting, suggested that we send a notice to all members regarding the guidelines to cancelling a rally.
B. September 10 -27, Rally to Olympic National Park in Washington. Wagon Masters: Marlowe & Sharon Skar and Mike & Mary Romo. . Status from Wagon Masters: You can contact Sharon if you want to go on a wait list.. Phone # (916) 434-7799; email: [email protected]
C.. October 16 – 20th, Jackson Rancheria. Wagon Masters: Dean & Betty Schumacher and Roy Deeble and Elena Shroyer
Status from Wagon Masters: Betty asked that if you are interested in going to this rally that you send her the application and the $25.00. She will add you to the waitlist and not cash your check until you are assigned a site. Her phone # (916) 601-1388.

D. November 9 – 14: Although not a rally for our club, it was shared that there is a pickle ball rally being held at Indian Waters RV Resort in Indio. The national pickle ball championship is being held in the area. Some members of the club are attending. If interested, contact Cara Roberts at (925) 330-9397.
IX UNFINISHED BUSINESS
A. CPR/AED Class on Aug 2nd was cancelled. Will be rescheduled.
B. Revised By-Laws. Sharon Skar asked if there were any comments regarding the changes. There were none. Mary called for the vote to accept the By-Laws as revised. A show of hands determined that the Revised By Laws have unanimously been accepted.
X NEW BUSINESS:
RV Storage Survey: 24 Hour Recreational Storage in Rocklin will give a discount to our members. If you are using 24 Hour Storage, contact Robyn Kain (707) 695-9027.
