LINCOLN HILLS RV GROUP MINUTES

Thursday, November 10, 2022 4:30 p.m. Kilaga Springs Lodge Placer Room with Kitchen

  1. CALL TO ORDER: Mary Romo called the Meeting to Order at 4:35 p.m.
  2. WELCOME NEW MEMBERS:

John & Cindy Aimar Marty & Sharece Lendl

  1. MEMBERS PRESENT: We had 23 members present.
  2. PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES:

A motion to approve the minutes of the previous meeting on October 13, 2022 that were posted on line was made by Dean Schumacher and Seconded by Mike Romo.

  • REPORTS
  1. Treasurer’s Report: A motion to approve the Treasurer’s Report as posted on line was made by Al Giuliani and Seconded by Ed Williams.
  2. Membership Report (Sharon Skar): We have new members, Dan & Kathy Herbert. Our membership is now 65 households.
  3. Sunshine Report (Gerri Samsel). Gerri was not present. Mary asked that if anyone knows that someone is not well or has lost someone, please let Gerri know. Her phone # is: (916)409-2145; email: [email protected].
  • Historian Report (Ron Darville)

Ron Darville was present. He is going on a cruise and will not be present at the Christmas party. Looking for volunteer to take pictures. Mary asked that any pictures from our rallies be sent to him. His address is 1198 Stone Pine Lane and phone # is (916)409-2470.

  • Social Chair Report (Vicki White):

Vicki reported that Dec 4th is our Christmas Party at Orchard Creek. A flyer was sent to all members. There is a $15 corkage fee if you bring your own wine.      May 13th is the Luau Dinner Dance. It’s going to be at the Sports Pavilion.

  • RALLIES FOR 2022

A.. October 16 – 20th, Jackson Rancheria. Wagon Masters: Dean & Betty Schumacher and Roy Deeble and Elena Shroyer. Betty related that everyone enjoyed the various activities. Terri Stubblefield related that it was one of the best organized rallies and lots of fun.

B.. November 9 – 14: Cara Roberts and some of our other members are at a pickle ball rally being held at Indian Waters RV Resort in Indio. The national pickle ball championship is being held there.

  1. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
  • Revising the Wagon Master Duties. They will be posted to the website.

A.       CPR/AED Class for Nov 11th is full. Not sure when another class will be scheduled. It will be announced in the Compass.

X.   NEW BUSINESS

Voting for positions of Vice President and Membership.

Ron Deeble has agreed to be the Vice President. He is traveling and not at the meeting. Mary Romo asked for the vote to elect Roy Deeble as Vice President. The vote was unanimous, Roy is the new Vice President and will be working with Cara Roberts.

Mary Romo asked for the vote to elect Maggie Giuliani as Membership. The vote was unanimous, Maggie is the new Membership.

XI OPEN COMMENTS:

Howard Stubblefield related that they have an outside plate by their RV door with their name and phone numbers, so if there is a problem with their RV and they are not around, someone can call them.

A motion to adjourned was made by Marlowe Skar and Seconded by Al Giuliani.
