Kelly Tipton were welcomed to the group. They have a Class C
rig and are looking forward to going on a future rally. Joe Gomes
introduced himself; he has a 24’ Coachmen Leprechaun which he
has owned for about 3 years.
3. Membership Report (Tari Briscoe for Cindy Aimar) – Tari
indicated that there were 119 club members.
4. Approve Minutes of November 14, 2024 (Jake Baker) - a motion
was made by Mary Romo, seconded by Steve Holderfield, to
approve the minutes. Motion passED.
5. Approve Treasurer’s Reports of December 2024 (Jake Baker) –
Patty Holderfield discussed the new RV plaques that the club has
paid for; the cost of the plaques will be repaid to the club by
those members purchasing them. This expense is recorded
under Merchandise Sales. A motion was made by Terri
Stubblefield, seconded by Ron Larsen, to approve the Treasurer’s
reports. Motion passed.
6. Sunshine Report (Pam Baker for Cyndy Mason) – No new
member issues were reported.
7. Historian Report (Ron Darville)
a. RV Trivia Questions – Mary Romo. Mary researched whether
any Presidents had owned a recreational vehicle. Presidents
Kennedy and Clinton both used RV’s while in office, as did
Vice President Gore and Senator McCain. Of course, Coach
John Madden was well known for his use of an RV (the
Cruiser) during football season as he would not use air
transportation.
8. Vice President Report for Rallies (Ron Lunsford)
a. 2025 Rally Updates – Ron discussed the rallies scheduled for
this year. He asked for those interested to sign up on the
rally sheets he brought so they can gauge the interest level
for each rally (it is not a commitment). Rally application
forms have been placed on the table as well. Ron asked the
wagon masters for the scheduled rallies to summarize their
planning:
i. Ron Lunsford reviewed the Desert Hot Springs rally in
February; many activities are planned. The application
was sent out and club members can contact the park
directly to make their reservation; a discount is
available for a weekly stay. Ron Lunsford and Diane
Bergeron are the wagon masters. You can still call the
park to reserve a space if you wish to join the rally.
ii. Robyn Kain reviewed the activities being explored for
Grass Valley in April; she discussed that she and Janet,
along with the Carbreys, had a field visit up to Grass
Valley and found many interesting activates the group
will be able to enjoy. A particularly exciting event is the
Annual Tulip Festival that will be ongoing while we are
there. There will be pickle ball at the RV resort, golfing
nearby, tour of the Empire Mine, local shopping, group
dinner at a local restaurant, and other activities. There
are 18 rigs signed up. Contact the park directly if you
are interested in joining this rally.
iii. Mary Romo, assistant wagon master, reported on the
Arcata rally in northern California with the kinetic races
in May – the racers have to self propel their racing
machine by human power only and cover 50 miles over
the course of the weekend. Sixteen rigs are signed up.
iv. The Chico rally tentatively planned to follow the Arcata
rally has been cancelled due to low sign ups.
v. Mary and Mike Romo are the wagon masters for the
Minden, NV rally in June; the rally application form has
been sent out, please review to sign up and see the
information on activities that include a picnic and visit
to a distillery.
vi. In August, the Lake Siskiyou rally will be held.
Interested club members have already reserved their
spaces. Ron suggested if you are still interested,
contact the park asap to see if a space is still open. Ken
and Marilyn Brenk have volunteered as the assistant
wagon masters – we need a lead wagon master to
work with them to finalize planning.
vii. Patty Holderfield reviewed the planning underway for
the September rally to Pismo Beach; applications have
been sent, only 3 spots remain open.
viii. Ron reviewed the October/November rally in Vacaville
– a wagon master is needed to coordinate this rally.
b. Ideas for 2026 rallies – Ron reviewed his tentative planning
for next year. They include the California coast,
Clio/Graeagle, Angeles Camp, Paso Robles, Couer D’Alene,
Oregon, and Heber City, Utah so far. He will continue to
work on this.
c. Club plaques – Ron said he still has RV rig plaques with the
club logo available for sale at $30 each which includes the
mounting brackets.
9. Unfinished Business (Jake Baker)
a. Profile Picture – Members were reminded that you can have
your picture taken for the Member Gallery on the website by
contacting Mary, or if you already have a picture you want to
use, send that to Mary and Robyn so it can be posted.
b. Financial Audit (Jake Baker) – An audit committee was
appointed as required by the By-laws. The committee
reviewed expenditures and accounting practices and reported
that the clubs’ finances are in good accounting order. No
issues were identified in need of correction.
c. Proposed Changes to Operating Policies and Procedures – Jake
Baker reviewed that this item was noticed on last months
agenda for several updates to the Operating Policies and
Procedures that were highlighted last month. He asked for
approval of the changes, which were approved by the
members in attendance.
10. New Business (Jake Baker) – the swap meet originally scheduled
for todays meeting has been deferred to next month.
11. Open Comments (All)
a. Diane Bergeron reported on the review of the Holiday Party;
the party for next year is scheduled for December 21, 2025
at Orchard Creek. She will continue to consider other
venues.

will be on May 13th at the Sports Pavilion – the theme is
“Flower Power” so get out your 60’s and 70’s gear to dress up
for the event, a prize will be awarded. She is looking for a
karaoke machine to use at the party.
