a. Patty Holderfield reported on the health issues involving Steve Holderfield that arose during the Pismo Beach rally. His heart had several issues but they are being resolved and he is expected to be home tomorrow. Patty expressed her thanks and appreciation for all the support she received from the club, it is a true expression of how supportive club members are to each other. Patty also described the assistance she got from their insurance, Coachnet, that transported she and Steve home on a Lear jet; the company has their own fleet of planes with flight and medical
personnel. Their air medical services are provided anywhere in the world, it does not have to be RV related. The company also transported their truck and 5th wheel all the way home. She encouraged everyone to review their coverage and make she they are fully covered as you never know when you may need it.
7. Historian Report (Ron Darville) – Ron brought the photos from the Spring Fling party for everyone to view.

b. The Mission Bay rally in San Diego was taken over by George and Terri Slaats, assistant wagon masters, due to the Holderfield’s medical emergency. The group had a great time with a burger party the first night, pontoon rides on Mission Bay, omelets in a bag for breakfast (which were delicious), golf, and tours.
c. Cheryl Bisson, wagon master for the Vacaville rally, reported that she has seven signups so far; space is available. This rally will be held October 28 – November 2nd. There will be a Halloween costume party and plans have been made for a Jelly Belly tour, golfing, shopping at the outlets, touring Pena Adobe park with an 2 mile easy hike around the lagoon, and the City of Vacaville is having a special Halloween event in the city square called the “Art of Death”. Other activities are
being looked into.

have their applications yet.
10. Unfinished Business (Jake Baker)
a. Profile Picture – Jake encouraged everyone to submit their picture, such as a travel pic, to Robyn Kain to post on the website. It is very helpful to be able to see members pictures on the website so when you are going on a rally, you can see who is coming especially if there are new members.

a. Jake Baker noted that Diane Bergeron has served two years as the Social Chair and will not continue for next year. He requested everyone to consider volunteering for this position as it is an important one that adds to the fun activities of the club.
b. Rig Weighing – Robyn Kain reported that she recently ran across an article that discussed rig weighing at rallies that she pursued. It turns out the group provides the weighing at large organizational rallies such as Winnebago, Air Stream, etc. The board discussed the issue and feels that it is an important issue for everyone to have your rig weighed while
it is full so you know your weight capacity. It is suggested that this be included in rally planning and that wagon masters identify weigh locations along the route of the rally so that you can get your rig weighed. Patty Holderfield explained that if you go to the CAT stations, they will walk you through the process. You drive up on the weighing pads and they will tell you when to stop so they can start the weighing process. You then pull off the pads and go inside to get your weigh report. She highly recommended it. As a
result of going through the process, she and Steve realized their truck was underweight for the rig they were pulling and upgraded to a larger truck.
